Reservations
Reservations may be made either online or over the phone 719-873-5921. Any person wishing to make a reservation must be at least 21 years of age.
Please note the maximum capacity of your unit below. Guests must provide an accurate count of adults, children (regardless of age), and pets at the time of booking. If plans change and more people or pets will be joining than declared on the original booking, guests must notify us via phone or email prior to arrival. Prices are based on double occupancy and extra charges will apply for additional people and pets. Maximum capacity must not be exceeded for any reason and will result in forfeiture of the reservation. No camping or sleeping in vehicles of any kind (humans or pets).
Lodgepole Yurt: Two (2) people and two (2) pets
Dakota Park House: Six (6) people (no pets allowed)
Rates
Rates vary by unit and are subject to change at any time. Reservations made in advance of price changes will be unaffected. Rates do not include state, city, or local sales and/or lodging taxes.
Damages
Guests are responsible for any damages and breakage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items, or the need for additional cleaning.
Payment
In order to secure a reservation online or over the phone, a deposit amount of 50% of the total reservation is due upon booking and will be charged to your card. The remaining 50% will be charged to the same card 13 days prior to your arrival.
Payment Methods
For reservations we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. A 3.5% convenience fee will be assessed on all credit card bookings over $3,000.
Cancellations
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less a $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation, no refund will be issued. Additionally, no refunds will be issued for the removal of dates from a reservation with an arrival date within the 14 day non-refundable window.
No Show
No refunds will be given for failure to arrive on time, regardless of the reason.
Early Departure
No refunds will be given for early departure, regardless of the reason.
Other
Aspen Ridge Cabins cannot be held responsible for weather conditions, road conditions, equipment malfunctions, injury, or anything else outside of its control; therefore, no refunds will be given for such unfortunate occurrences.
Check-In Time
You can check in any time after 4:00 p.m. Arriving early? Call to request an early check-in. Depending on our current occupancy we will try to accommodate you. You must call prior to arrival to confirm an early check in.
Check-In Procedures
You may go directly to your unit upon arrival. You will receive a code for the door of your unit via email prior to your arrival. Dakota Park House guests will receive a code prior to arrival for access to a key box. A $25 fee will be charged for lost keys.
Check-Out Time
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. Due to the time needed for cleaning, we do not allow late check outs.
Supplies
In order to make your stay more comfortable, your unit will be stocked with all necessary linens and a starter supply of shampoo, conditioner, hand and body soap, dish soap, toilet paper, trash bags, ground coffee, and paper towels. You are responsible for food, drinks, and other toiletries.
Housekeeping
Daily cleaning service is not provided; it is up to you to maintain the unit to the same standard you would like someone to keep your home. We ask that you be respectful of the owner and subsequent guests. Periodic cleanings can be arranged for stays lasting longer than 10 days. Departure cleaning service is included with each reservation.
Maintenance
Things in our units can potentially break down, just like anywhere else. Should you encounter such an issue, please report the problem to us and we will seek to make repairs as soon as possible.
Availability
Should a unit become unavailable for any reason outside of our control, you will be reassigned to a comparable unit or you will have the opportunity to cancel your reservation with a full refund.
Driving Conditions
The mountain region around South Fork, while beautiful, can occasionally be harsh. Our roads are well maintained, but we urge caution during the late fall, early spring, and winter months. We do not guarantee any road maintenance or conditions. We do not refund due to road conditions.
Pets
No pets are allowed in Cabins 2 through 5 or in the Dakota Park House. Up to two (2) dogs are allowed in Cabin 1, Cabin 6, Bristlecone Yurt, and Lodgepole Yurt. An additional $15 per night fee will be assessed per dog. No other species of pet are allowed.
Rules for dog owners:
- Clean up after dog waste
- Keep dogs leashed while on the property
- Do not leave your dogs in the cabin/yurt unattended for long periods of time
- Do not allow dogs on the beds or furniture
Smoking
Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside any unit or structure on the property.
Behavior
During your stay, please keep in mind that you are a guest of Aspen Ridge Cabins. We ask that you be respectful of the property and of any neighbors you may have. An adult (age 21 or older) must always be on the property if children are present.
Legal Restrictions
All laws and ordinances are to be observed by all parties on the property.
Loss/Injury
The renter assumes full responsibility for personal behavior and that of all other guests on the property. Any activity on the property is done at own risk. As such, neither the manager nor the owner of the property is liable for any death, loss, or injury sustained during occupancy. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that the registered renter is expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from his or her use of the premises and that all guests of the registered renter are expressly assuming the risk of any harm or illness arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
Damages
The renter is responsible for any damages or problems not reported by the renter upon arrival.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Items
Aspen Ridge Cabins is not responsible for any personal items lost, stolen, damaged, or left behind. If any items are found, however, management would be glad to return at renter’s expense.
Right to Terminate Contract
If the renter or any member of the party violates any terms outlined in this policy, the manager reserves the right to terminate the renter’s contract. The result is then immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
Entry Rights
Management reserves the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for repairs, care, or management.
