After 11 years of living in Alaska, Jeremy and Katy purchased Aspen Ridge Cabins in the spring of 2020. The new owners are outdoor enthusiasts who met while both living in Colorado when Jeremy was a raft guide on the Arkansas River. Jeremy and Katy are excited to offer you a warm, welcoming stay and the very best views, fishing, and hiking in Southern Colorado.
The sky's the limit when it comes to Outdoor Activities in South Fork Colorado
The town of South Fork is surrounded on three sides by the Rio Grande National Forest and some of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in the country. The outdoor activities are countless.
Nearby, the Rio Grande River and the South Fork River provide excellent trout fishing. In addition, there are many local lakes and reservoirs. If you prefer biking, hiking, or ATV riding there are many old logging and mining trails close by for breath taking views of nature’s finest. Aspen Ridge Cabins is located on the city's OHV trail, so you can ride right from the property without trailering.

When the day is done and you're ready to put your feet up and rest awhile, we offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy an evening outdoors. We feature an outdoor area that allows for get-togethers and picnics, as well as open fires that capture the wild spirit and beauty of the outdoors.
Hunters and anglers have a walk in freezer/cooler for their harvests. There's also bagged ice for sale on site. Enjoy a walk to town on paved sidewalks, or kick back and cook steaks on the grill.
Modern Amenities in Renovated Cabins
The log cabins are all modern with full kitchens, bathrooms, smart TVs, and fiber optic wi-fi. All linens, pots, and pans are furnished. Our cabins have one or two bedrooms with queen or full size beds. Many cabins have additional fold out futons.
Our new luxury yurts offer you the opportunity to enjoy the yurt experience without compromising on luxury and amenities. Relax and recharge in a private, cozy glamping space with an innovative design and beautiful views. Stargaze from your bed as you enjoy the solitude and dark skies of South Fork, Colorado.
